Security question before I connect anything. Where does my login actually go?

No, and we never ask for it.

Connecting an account uses OAuth. You're sent to the platform's own login page on the platform's own domain, you authenticate there, and you approve a specific set of permissions. What comes back to us is an access token scoped to those permissions, never your password. We could not log into your account as you even if we wanted to.

You can revoke access at any time from the platform's side (Facebook → Settings → Business Integrations, and equivalents elsewhere), and it takes effect immediately regardless of what our app thinks.

If any tool in this category asks you to type a platform password into *their* form, that's a hard stop. That's credential harvesting, not integration.

This should be in the signup flow. It's the first thing our IT person asked.
